So this year has been a doozy.  The place I work lets me semi focus on security, while still being a Unix systems administrator.  I get to wear both hats, and I like it.  They've put me through more training in the two years I've been here than my previous place where I worked for almost ten years.  They let me choose the training I wanted, too.  The ONLY thing I really don't like about it is the drive.  But if we get to move like we'd like to do some time soon, we'll cut that drive down a bit and that'll be awesome. So the epilogue is up.  The final word count according to 750words.com is 52,912.  There are about 30 words or less that are actually notes to myself, so it's a little less than that, but not by much.  The highest word count in a given day was 2,340 words. This book was a rough ride.  The book itself is rough material.  As stated at the beginning, there are inconsistencies.  The writing is not my best work.  But it's all okay.  I managed to write a novel in 30 days that was 50K plus words, and that's what matters. The next step is to get these transferred to a document writer like google docs or similar and share with my editor.  I'll go th

So I broke 50k words today.  The book is not finished.  There are still two days left to write, and I will need both of them.  Hopefully it doesn't turn into something resembling an acid trip, though, because I ran a fever off and on last night out of the blue for no reason, and if it doesn't go away between now and Monday, things might be interesting in the worst way possible for the ending of this book. But that's OKAY!  There is nothing that says the ending can't be rewritten during editing.  So I'll get over it.
